ISSMGE TC 302 Forensic Geotechnical Engineering announces an International Symposium on Forensic Approach to Analysis of Geohazard Problems at Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay on 14-15th December 2010.
It is a unique event in which analysis of failures of actual case of histories of geotechnical origin are being presented and discussed among the experts, engineers and scientists working in the area. India is on fast track construction mode and the issue of learning from failures and not to repeat them again is very important in this context.
